Wedding Suppliers I love
I have had the pleasure of working with so many talented wedding suppliers that I just have to share some of my favourite!
Everyone knows how important it is to get the right professional photographer for you. Below you will find a selection of my favourite wedding photographers to work with. Not only are they really passionate about weddings and photography but they’re also amazing people to have there on the day!
I’m a huge fan of Manchester based wedding photographer Mick Cookson. I had the pleasure of working with him way back in 2011 and have worked with him a few times since (he’s even photographing my sister in laws wedding!). His unobtrusive, documentary style of photography really complements our style of wedding films and make the perfect partner. If you prefer the idea of little to no direction or posing on your wedding day I would click on the image to see his work…
Lisa Aldersley is passionate about natural, unobtrusive photography because she loves the intimate stories these pictures tell. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lisa on a couple of weddings now and just adore her fun and natural style. She really gets to know her bride’s and grooms before the wedding and that really shows as everyone is so relaxed around her on the day.
If you are looking for a creative, fresh approach to capturing those special chapters in your life, then Chapter Photography would love to help you tell your story. If you would like more of an idea of what they are like then have a look at our Portfolio page, we were lucky enough to film their wedding!
Although now based in Dublin we’ve also had the pleasure of working on numerous weddings together all over the U.K. Couples have been known to call us their ‘dream team’ after the day because we work so well together and have a knack at keeping the wedding day running smoothly and stress free!
Laurel Weddings are one of the very best wedding florists and they’re based in the north west! If you’re yet to find the perfect florist for your wedding then meeting with Laura is a must! She’s very similar to me when working on each wedding and takes pride in her work, being passionate about weddings and making sure the client has the best experience. Not only is her work gorgeous but I promise you’ll just adore Laura too…
‘A girl should be two things – classy and fabulous’. Coco Chanel. It’s certainly how I felt when I did my boudoir shoot with Nicola at My Boudoir, I felt like I was part of a Vogue photo shoot! Nicola and her make over team make you feel like a superstar and I have the photos to prove how amazingly talented Nicola is. Her boudoir photographs are stunning and glamorous, why don’t you click on the link to view her most recent boudoir beauties!
The English Wedding Blog was born in November 2009 to showcase what makes weddings in this country so great. Claire is very passionate about her English Wedding Blog and all things wedding related. She’s even been kind enough to write a feature on Love Gets Sweeter!

Great White Occasions is the company to contact if you’re looking for a really unique wedding transport idea. Their VW Campervan, Bruce, not only comes in the cutest colour combo of lilac and pale-yellow but it’s also been converted to allow for wheelchair access. Oh, and I should mention that the owners Emma and Daniel were my first ever Bride and Groom!!! You can see their wedding film here!
